It will cover 11 standards of learning (SOL's) set by the state of Virginia, and the students are required to be tested on the information their 8th grade year. That SOL test will be cumulative and cover information from their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years. In my class we will cover many topics ranging from living organisms and cells to genetics, ecology, and scientific investigation.     *Remember to have fun with it!
