My name is Kerrie Pierce and I teach 7th grade life science! This is my 11th year teaching here. 

I have 3 boys: Taylor (6) and James (2) and Noah (born 7/15/23). 

I am from Fredericksburg, VA. I attended Chancellor Middle/High School, then James Madison University for my undergrad and the University of Mary Washington for my Master's in Education. 

I am a major beach bum and go to the OBX at least 4 times a year. We also love to go camping, so we usually plan 1-2 weekend camping trips per year. 

I'm a sucker for a great book! Please let me know your favorites so I can add them to my list!!

I'm excited for this year! Let's make it a good one! :)

This page is simply here as an extra resource.    7th Grade Life Science The class is your standard 7th grade life science that students take at KGMS. It will cover 11 standards of learning (SOL's) set by the state of Virginia, and the students are required to be tested on the information their 8th grade year. That SOL test will be cumulative and cover information from their 6th, 7th, and 8th grade years. In my class we will cover many topics ranging from living organisms and cells to genetics, ecology, and scientific investigation.     *Remember to have fun with it!
